He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Pywell and Alice Fern Pywell; his brothers, Charles 'Corky' and James Pywell; and his wife Evelyn Corwin.

He is survived by: his children, Mark (Sally) of Burdett, Brad (Mary) and Joy Edghill (Darre) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandsons, Lane Pywell, Chase, Corbin Pywell, Malachi and Syre Edghill; and his brother Lonnie Pywell.
