With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosella Christensen of McPherson, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Jenkins and Pearl Kirk; her husband Charles Christensen; her siblings, Marshall Kirk, Bob Kirk, James Kirk, Bill Kirk, Jean Cherpitel and Bettye Jane Gustus; her sons, Jeffrey Burge and Jerry Burge; her granddaughter Kylie Holder; and her close friend Harold Englebrecht.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Burge (Debbie) of McPherson, KS and Christa Meisinger (Adam); her grandchildren, Jara LeGron (Dean), Misty Souder, Mindy Mikulecky (Matt), Kristopher Burge (Jodi), Shane Burge and Ella Pearl Meisinger; and her siblings, Helen George of Thompson Station, TN, Phyllis Greenslate (Bill) of Winchester, KY and Jerry Kirk (Nancy) of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
