Robin Reed Obituary

Robin Reed, 74, of Mcpherson, KS, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at McPherson Health and Rehab, McPherson, Kansas.

Robin was born in McPherson, Kansas on January 31, 1949, the daughter of the Mark Richard and Jennette "Jean" Elizabeth (Brewster) Anson.

Robin attended McPherson grade school, McPherson Junior High and McPherson High School. She graduated from Francis C. Hammond in Alexandria, Virginia in 1967. She then attended Hutchinson Community College, Hutchinson, Kansas and graduated with a BSN from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas.

Robin worked as a registered nurse for many nursing homes in the area. Robin enjoyed reading, camping and loved spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by sons, Barry Ladwig, Mark Reed and Michael Reed, Jr. all of McPherson, Kansas; sister, Judi Shannon of Salina, Kansas; and grandchildren, Kylie Ladwig and Mercedes Ladwig.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew Richard W. Shannon.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
