It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Koenig of McPherson, Kansas, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rezin and Hettie Jane Wood (Simmons); her siblings, Robert Wood, Virginia Davison and Kenneth Wood; and her great grandchild Hendrix Koenig.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Koenig; and her children, Cheryl Swisher (Galen) of Kula, HI, Steve Koenig (Connie) of McPherson, KS and Judy Sanders (Robert) of Evans, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and many extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Cedars.
