She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton S. Widiger and Carole V. Widiger (Peterson); her husband Bill Penrod; and her daughters, Jane Adele Penrod and Michelle Dawn Penrod.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judi Penrod (Rikhardur Josafatsson) of Reykjavik, Carol Helton (Jody) of Inman, KS and Deborah Penrod of Galva, KS; her siblings, Jane Donaldson of Wichita, KS, Mary Roderick (Rick) of Roach, MO, Delores Gillis of Aurora, CO and Dale Widiger (Desiree) of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Jesse Tosten (Josh), Richard James (Allysia), Joanna Helton and Adam Rikhardsson; and her great grandchild Kol Torres.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
