It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maryclare Elizabeth Konicek of McPherson, Kansas, born in Schuyler, Nebraska, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Stan; her son John Konicek; and her sister Delores Patach. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Pankewich (Allen) of Gardner, Jeanette James (Doug) of Kansas City, Diana Sandidge (Scott) of Alton, Kathy Gonzales (Kelly) of Garden City, Caroline Crawford (Jay) of McPherson, Kansas, Allen Konicek (Janet Musick) of Burlingame and Bill Konicek (Jeanne) of Lander, Wyoming; and her grandchildren, Skip Pankewich (Stephanie), Laura Jordan (Shane), Jeff Pankewich (Heidi), Jessica Dodson (Keith), Dakotah Konicek (Stephanie), Shadoe Konicek (Sidney), Candace Valenzuela (Joseph), Nicolette Noser, Brittney James, Jordan James, Isaac Sandidge (Kristina), Jason Sandidge (Laura), Aubrie Sandidge (J. T.), Danielle Stokes (Richard), Joshua Gonzales (Megan), Tiffiany Gonzales (Derek Jones), Paula Gonzales (C. J. Covington), Breanna Crawford-Dingman (Jason), Jordan Crawford (Breahna), Christopher Crawford and Taylor Crawford (Bailey). She is also survived by 46 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
