She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Elvera Aurell (Peterson) and John Aurell; her sisters, Jane Hendricks and Betty Brandsted; and her children, Erick Johnson and Barbara Birk.
She is survived by: her son Matthew of Minneapolis, MN; and her son-in-law Wes Birk of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
