With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Schmidt of McPherson, Kansas, born in Meade, Kansas, who passed away on August 18, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Herbert and Ola Edmona Stratton (Taylor); her husband Harvey H. Schmidt; and her brothers, Edgar, Herb and Harold Stratton.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gilham (Dan) of Belle Plains, KS, Terry Schmidt (Debra) of Lawrence, KS and Tim Schmidt (Roxanne) of McPherson, KS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Angel Arms or McPherson County Humane Society in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
