She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Eugene and Ellen Margaret Bonjour (Savago); her siblings, Dale Bonjor, Marge Graf, Betty Labbee and Rose Davis; her son Marty Dale Koehn; and her granddaughter Heidi Sue Unruh.

She is survived by: her former husband Willard Duane Koehn; her husband William David "Bill" Petersen; her children, Mark D. Koehn of McPherson, Monty D. Koehn (Lori) of McPherson, Mike D. Koehn (Lisa) of McPherson and Sandy Unruh (Mark) of McPherson; her brother Leonard "Bud" Bonjour (Margaret) of Onaga, Kansas; her grandchildren, Tanya Hansarik (Nick), Sarah Koehn, Brett Koehn (Beth), Keith Unruh (Jessica), Shelby Reese (Jacob) and Aaron Koehn; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Keaton Hansarik, Maddison Klassen, Adrian Unruh, Rhett Unruh and Blakely Reese.
