She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Mae and Donald Allison Tessendorf. She is survived by: her child Allison Unruh of McPherson, KS; her husband Chris; her grandchildren, Avery Mae Unruh, Rylan Dean Unruh and Jaycen Lane Unruh; and her former husband Tom Marten. She is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.

Her battle with Alzheimer's began about six years ago.
