He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe J. F. and Emma Goering (Schrag); and his siblings, Margaret (Walter Schrag), Merlin, Virgil (Verna), Melvern (Erma) and Duane (Neva).
He is survived by: his daughter Anne Elizabeth (Jan); his wife Mary Beth of McPherson; his granddaughter Lia of Valley Center, Kansas; his daughter Gail Goering of Lehigh, Kansas; and his brother Kenneth Goering (Paula) of Galva. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
