She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto J. Unruh and Martha C. Unruh (Schmidt); her brother Robert Unruh (Connie) of Newton, KS; her husband Dean Nelson; and her sister Bonnie Heinrichs (Lowell).
She is survived by: her sons, Noel Nelson (Laura) of Denver, CO and Christopher Nelson (Kathleen) of Leawood, KS; her grandchildren, Mitchell, Madeline of Boulder, CO, Landon and Gavin of Leawood, KS; and her sister Elaine Ratzlaff (John) of Buhler, KS..
