He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Johnston and Marie Johnston. He is survived by: his brother Charles; his former wife Betty Wait of Buckner, MO.; and also, Richard (Vickie) of Wichita, KS, Troy (Connie) of The Woodlands, TX and Michelle (Robert Alexander) of Kansas City, MO.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
