He is survived by: his wife Vicki Lou Hayes; his children, Brenda Kliewer (Dan) of McPherson, KS and Brad Schmidt (Cathy) of McPherson, KS; his siblings, Leon Schmidt (Janet) of North Newton, KS and Velda Braun (John) of Seattle, WA; his brother-in-law Gordon Funk of Wichita, KS; and his grandchildren, Tim Kliewer (Lacey), Emily Greer (Tyler), Ashley Schmidt, Paige Schmidt, Alyssa Woodbridge (Dylan), Zachary Ruff and Mikala Motter (Dacota). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.
