It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lena Swan (McPherson, Kansas), born in Paxton, Nebraska, who passed away on January 16, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter K. Fast and Lena Fast (Thiessen); her former husband Hugh Gookin; and her siblings, Abraham Fast, Peter Fast Jr., Dan Fast, Anna Fast, Katharine Adrian and Marie Neufeld.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Swan; her children, Becky Goering (Dwight) of Galva, Berdie Bowlsby (Jeff) of San Ramon, CA and Randy Gookin (Marlys) of Elkgrove, CA; and her sister Bertha Steider (Workentine) of Nebraska. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and their spouses; fifteen great-grandchildren.
