The memory of Lavina R. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter P. Penner and Marie Penner (Ratzlaff); her husband Forrest Goering; her sister Elda Jantzen; and her daughter Charla Voth.
She is survived by: her children, Lynnae Applequist (Lee) of McPherson, KS, Darin Goering (Teresa) of Salina, KS and Lisa Bouray (Kirk) of McPherson, KS; her son-in-law Calvin Voth of McPherson, KS; her sister Velma Unruh of Galva, KS; her grandchildren, Emily Davis (Steven), Rosette Kleinsorge (Damon), Caprice Applequist, Grace Price (Ethan), Aaron Voth, Andrea Flores (Bo), Abbie Goering, Bethanie Purcell (Nick) and Lila Price; her stepgrandchildren, Lucas and Emma Davis; and her great grandchildren, Luke Lockhart, Lili Lockhart, Landen Lockhart, Dakota Davis, Addison Kleinsorge, Jadon Kleinsorge and Paislynn Purcell. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hopefield Mennonite Church Cemetery (1823 Aztec Ln, Moundridge, KS 67107). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460).
