He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Peterson and Audrey Peterson (Lackey); and his brother Lowell. He is survived by: his son George Morgan Peterson of McPherson, KS; and his sisters, Angela Peterson of Hutchinson, KS and Nattalee Vickers of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be given to the Central Kansas Foundation or McPherson County Humane Society in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
