She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Covington and Frances Covington (Atkinson); her husband Raymond Koehler; and her sister Carol Hrabe. She is survived by: her children, Marlin Koehler (Karen Wolfe), Andy Koehler (Laurel), Anita Schmidt (Kent), Alan Koehler (Kimberly) and Lori Koehler (Russell Smith); her grandchildren, Lesley Schmidt, James Schmidt, Craig Schmidt (Shelby), Lindsey Moore (Matt), Aaron Koehler (Alison Glockzin), Mariah Koehler, Lauren Koehler (Zach Henderson), Devon Koehler (Brynn Hoffman), Jadon Koehler (Kami) and Peyton Koehler (Lauren Kolm); and her brothers, Bob Covington (Linda) and Don Covington (Dixie). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church (215 W Morton Ave, Greensburg, KS 67054). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to Bucklin USD 459 earmarked for the Food-4-Kids Program at Bucklin Schools in the care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
