She was predeceased by: her parents, L. W. "Wayne" Shearhart and Frances Shearhart (Stanley); her husband Bob Coy; her brother-in-law John Marlett; and her granddaughter Jessie Huff Cauthorn.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Coy (Tonya) of McPherson, KS, Denise Huff (Don) of McPherson, KS, Debbie Coy of McPherson, KS and Susan Stephenson of McPherson, KS; her siblings, Sharon Shearhart of Wichita, KS, Jo Marlett of McPherson, KS and Jerry Shearhart (Paula) of McPherson, KS; her grandchildren, Tosha Coy, Katie Blankenship (Chris), Jacob Coy (Andrea), Jacie Nelson (Wade) and Jennifer Stephenson; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Coy, Shianne Newboles, Brayden Blankenship, Riley Newboles, Kelley Blankenship, Craigg Blankenship, Nathen Blankenship, Brayden Nelson, Brook Nelson, Kolton Coy, Camden Nelson, Greyson Coy and Morgan Cauthorn. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church (101 S Walnut St, McPherson, KS 67460).
