He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Base and Lavada Marie Base (Nightingale); and his sister-in-law Verna Base. He is survived by: his former wife Darla Koehn; his wife Jill Anderson; his daughter Mariah Sawyer (Travis) of McPherson, KS; his grandson Jordan Sawyer of McPherson, KS; his brother Earl Base (Chloe) of Galva, KS; and his nieces, Teri Mastre (Dwayne) of Galva, KS and Audrey Koehn (Brandon) of Galva, KS. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be given to the Junior Base Memorial Fund in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
