He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Theodore and Ida Caroline Johnson (Nelson); his wife Patty Johnson; and his siblings, Earl Johnson, Don Johnson and Helen Hornberger.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Johnson (Karolyn) of McPherson, KS, Jackie Phillips (Charlie) of Enterprise, KS and Jerri Mackey (Brian) of Bel Aire, KS; his sister LaDonna Mock of Lakewood, CO; and his grandchildren, Nick Johnson (Liz), Rebekah Hawthorne (Ransom), Sarah Willis (Tim), Cassie Kolinski (Trevor), Callie Bell (T. J.), Carlie Huser (Adam), Allison Flood (Dillon) and Austin Mackey (Maggie). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the New Gottland Covenant Church (1700 Pawnee Rd, McPherson, KS 67460).
