Jim Walker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2021, at the age of 86, Jim Walker of McPherson, Kansas, born in Anthony, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Alice Elizabeth Walker (Mooring); his granddaughter Kristy Snow Walker; and his siblings, Lee Roy Walker, Jack Walker, Edward Walker, Mildred Davison and Robert Walker.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Longbine; his children, Dee Ann (Rick Schneble) of Alvin, Texas and Jimmie Wayne Walker of Alvin, Texas; his foster daughter Linda (Glenn Smith) of Donaldson, Arkansas; his granddaughter Jasmine Nicole Walker of Iola, Kansas; his siblings, Rosie (Bob Besore) of New Braunfels, Texas, Johnie (Mary Ann Walker) of Castle Rock, Colorado and Betty Hawley of Carmen, Oklahoma; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Walker of Anthony and Janell Walker of Georgetown, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Coach Walker Memorial Scholarship or to the Jefferson Street Baptist Church.
