He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin William and Dolly Quigley Stover; his wife Patricia A. Skaggs; his daughter Shelley Hogg; his grandchildren, Bobby Hogg Jr., Tamara Foster and Christopher Foster; and his great grandchild Matthew Stover.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse R. Stover Jr. (Linda) of Sterling, KS, Teresa Smith (Bob) of McPherson, KS, Lillian Jesseph of McPherson, KS, Joseph Stover (Amy) of Hutchinson, KS, Marsha Akins (Mike) of Hutchinson, KS and David Stover (Lisa) of Chase, KS; and his siblings, Ernest Stover of Nowata, OK, Billy Stover of Delaware, OK and Shirley Patrick (Dale Nowata). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
