She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Simpson and Dorothy Pearl Slaughter (Aves); her son Nelson E. Stump; and her siblings, Dean Slaughter and Jerrille Slaughter.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Harl Stump (LaVena) of Hays, Kansas; her grandsons, Stephen Stump (Lisa) of St. Louis and Phillip Stump (Ellen) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and her great grandchildren, Curtis Stump, Brent Stump, Kevin Stump, Mark Stump, Elizabeth Stump and Sarah Stump.
Memorial donations may be given to the McPherson Church of the Brethren, The Cedars, or McPherson College in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
