It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Samuel Arvin of McPherson, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Otis and Floyada Arvin (Blurton); and his siblings, Joe, Donald, Howard, Thelma, Lila and Eva.
He is survived by: his wife Della Mae Campbell; his sons, David Arvin (Kathy) of Salina, KS, Charles Arvin of McPherson, KS and Bob Arvin (Joanna) of Olathe, KS; and his brother Bill Arvin (Sue) of Mansfield, LA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, & extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Celebrate Recovery (McPherson) or Countryside Covenant Church in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
