He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Erma Fae Batson (Turpin); his brothers, William Batson and Donald Batson; and his son Wayne Batson.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille W. Flory; his children, Cindy Kaufman (Cameron) of Buhler, KS, Janet Barthman (Mike) of Abilene, KS and Bruce Batson of Wichita, KS; his brother Jerry Batson of McPherson, KS; his close friends, Harold and Penny Selzer of McPherson, KS; and his grandchildren, Chris Cheesman (Mandy), Joseph Kaufman (Blanca), Katie Heller (Joe), Ian Tinsley (Bridgette), Brook Batson, Nick Batson, Stefanie Osborne (Dave), Jeremy Batson (Ashley), Eric Batson, Kelly Batson, Erica Selzer and Patrick Selzer (Katie). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
The family asks that attendees wear masks.
