He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas D. Schrag and Anna Schrag (Krehbiel); and his parents-in-law, LaVerne Schrag (Irma), Gilbert Schrag (Vida Schrag-Elwood), Marilynn Flickner (Earl) and Delmer Schrag.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Klingenberg; his children, Darrell Schrag (Bobbi) of Moundridge and Donna Rodenfels (Craig); his grandchildren, Joseph Schrag, Hannah Schrag, Theron Ratzlaff (Taleah) and Bryce Ratzlaff; his siblings, Dennis Schrag (Pam) of Pacheco, California and Arlene Zerger (Carrol) of Kingman; and his sister-in-law Twilla Schrag of Newton. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
