He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertus Melhorn and Phebe Melhorn; his sister Esther Holler; and his grandson Aaron Melhorn. He is survived by: his grandchildren, John Melhorn (Julie), Hannah Melhorn, Connor Gilbert, Emily Gilbert, Mitchell Melhorn (Mary Drake), Lexi Smelcer (Tim) and Madison Melhorn; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Luke and Eliza Melhorn. He is also survived by his wife, include his sons.
