With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ilda Jane Fries of McPherson, Kansas, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ilda Jane Fries to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Brooks Wallace and Florence Emma Graves (Tuxhorn); her husband Harold; and her brothers, Leo Graves and Robert Graves.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Edward (Pat) of Torrance, Howard and Mary Margaret Mingenback of Emporia; her grandchildren, Dale (Lucrecia) of McPherson, Sarah Morgan, Alan Fries and Patti Mingenback (Wasim Zaman); and her great grandchildren, Ravi, Kenneth, Savanah and Cassandra.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Inman Museum and they can be sent to Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Funeral Home, 222 W. Euclid St., McPherson, KS 67460.
