We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2023, at the age of 85, Garland E. Hill Jr. of McPherson, Kansas, born in Salina, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Elmo Murray Hill, Sr. and Mildred Martha Hill (Van Ness); and his sister Sally Hill. He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Marie Schlotz; his children, Garland "Skip" Hill, III of Hutchinson, KS, Sonia Hill of Topeka, KS, Sally Groves (Steve) of Glen Haven, CO and Sean Hill (Suzette Ruddle-Hill) of McPherson, KS; and his grandchildren, Seth Richard Hill, Matthew Pope, Cody Hill, Dustin Hill, Abigail Bundy, Nathanael Groves, Christine Groves and Daniel Groves. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.
