He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Bartel and Luella Bartel (Schmidt). He is survived by: his sisters, Harriet Woelk (Mark) of Goessel, KS and Debra Shorman (Gene) of McPherson, KS; his nephews, Jonathan Shorman (Theresa) of Merriam, KS and David Shorman (Malia) of Owasso, OK; and his great-niece Gemma Shorman.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Mennonite Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Mennonite Church (1161 E A Ave, McPherson, KS 67460).
