It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eli Cameron Mead of McPherson, Kansas, born in Pratt, Kansas, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Erma Schneweis; and his aunt Shelley Schneweis. He is survived by: his parents, Jason Cordel and Jill Elaine Mead (Schneweis) of McPherson; his sister Ella Mead of McPherson; his grandparents, Robert Schneweis of Dodge City, KS, Doug of McPherson, Lana Chaney of McPherson, Darwyn of McPherson and Pat Mead of McPherson; and his uncles, Ron (Jerelyn Schneweis), Alan (Paula Schneweis), Gary (Rhnae Schneweis), Stacey (Todd Hamilton), Justin (Jill Mead) and Jamie (Jake Hedlund).

Memorials are to Fisher House Foundation Inc (builds or donates houses at military and VA medical centers where service member families stay for free while a loved one is in the hospital or undergoing an extended recovery period.
