He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lawrence and Augusta Theresa Jones; his wife Patsy Jean Underwood; and his brothers, Paul O'Brien, Charles Jones, Robert Jones and James Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Frances Grant (Kevin) of Salina, KS, Toni Bandy (Terry) of McPherson, KS and Edward Jones (Carol) of Arlington, TX. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
