He is survived by: his former wife Rhonda "Shelly" Kasper; his children, Kelli Haigh (Dustin) of Lindsborg, Melissa Smith (Clint) of McPherson and Tim Schmidt (Baylee) of McPherson, Kansas; his sister Janet Smith (Dean) of McPherson, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Katelyn Haigh of Britton Haigh, Ala, Carson Smith, Sawyer Smith, Harper Smith, Zoee Schmidt and Monroe Schmidt; and his great grandchild Ryland Waite.
