He was predeceased by: his wives, Janel Embrey and Shannan Souder; and his brother Christopher Embrey. He is survived by: his parents, Lewis Lawrance and Janice Louise Embrey (Kelley) of Lindsborg, KS; his sister Connie Stark (Claus) of Smithville, MO; his children, Steven Embrey of Schulenburg, TX and Megan Valenta (Garrett) of Moundridge, KS; his stepchildren, Brooks Johnson of McPherson, KS, Zach Johnson of McPherson, KS, Chad Richert (Justin Cook) of Kansas City, MO, AshLeigh Brodin of Kansas City, MO and Sierra Kerbs of Joplin, MO; his niece Marissa Stark of Lafayette, CO; his grandchildren, Daniel Scott, Gabe Embrey, Nathan Scott and Zoey Scott; and his pets, Skylar and Riley. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
