He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Vance and Lillian Alma Halbert (Langhammer); his wife Evelyn Stevens; and his sister Linda Hutchinson. He is survived by: his children, Tondra Fry (Robert) of Mansfield, TX, Jacque Cutrer (Blake) of St. Francisville, LA and Richard T. Halbert of Shreveport, LA; his stepchildren, Sandy Abell (David) of Louisville, KY and Craig Stephens (Kathy) of Phoenix, AZ; and his siblings, Larry Halbert of Medora, KS, Kurt Halbert of Hutchinson, KS, Alan Halbert (Christine) of Lyons, KS and Ruby Navarro (Tony) of Emporia, KS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
