He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvina Rhea (Nightingale) and Vergial Edwin Rhea; his son Timothy Rhea; his grandson Austin Rhea; and his daughter-in-law Tracy Rhea.
He is survived by: his wife Dena Rhea of McPherson, Kansas; his sons, Heath Rhea of McPherson and Brian Rhea (Lillian) of McPherson, Kansas.; and his grandchildren, Josh, Luke and Olivia Grace.
