He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Peterson and Oscar Peterson; his wife Deborah Jean Peterson (Wright); and his son Anthony Dale "Tony" Peterson. He is survived by: his spouse Phyllis Jean Hawkinson; his children, Michael, Bradley, Martin "Marty" Peterson (Laura) of McPherson, Kansas, Mike Peterson of Whitesboro, Texas, Philip Heathcock of McPherson and Brad Heathcock (Carrie) of Ector; his grandchildren, Hunter Heathcock, Tanner Heathcock, Tony Peterson (Stephanie), Heather Dubois (Nick), Zach Peterson (Amanda), Courtney Heathcock, Monica Diederich (Seth) and Jake Heathcock; and his great grandchildren, Carter Diederich, Max Peterson and Cassden Diederich.
