It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Regier in McPherson, Kansas, born in Galva, Kansas, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Regier and Edna W. Regier (Christensen); his wife LaVeda Regier; his siblings, Betty Demieville, Jack Regier, Shirley "Rosie" Smith and Johnny Keith Regier; and his son-in-law Steve Jonas.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Burnison (Randy) of Raymore, MO, Carol Jonas of Marion, KS and Kelly Regier of McPherson, KS; his siblings, Agnar Regier (Marlena) of McPherson, KS and Merry Persinger of Mulvane, KS; and his grandchildren, Jon-Jon Burnison (Maggie) of Wichita, KS, Ashley Nelson (Tuck) of Raymore, MO, Nicolas Jonas of Marion, KS, Jeremy Jonas (Karen) of Inman, KS, Corey Jonas (Ariel) of Hamilton, IL, Kendall Regier (Sherrese) of Meade, KS and Staci Eils (Todd) of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
Due to the pandemic, a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
