He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Alvin and Ruth Irene Carlson (Yowell); his stepmother Kathryn Carlson; his daughter Teresa Koehn; his brother Robert Carlson (Betty); his half-brother Clarence Carlson; and his stepsiblings, Daryl Hanson, Jetty Chaney and Juanita Beal.
He is survived by: his spouse Veola "Vi" Mae Mills; his son Randy Carlson (Renee) of McPherson, KS; his son-in-law Don Koehn (Connie) of Canton, KS; his half-siblings, Carla Ann Wolf of Salisbury, MD and Marion Carlson (Teri) of Winter Haven, FL; and his grandchildren, Ryan Carlson (Crystal), Rachelle McAlexander (Josh), Rustin Carlson (Clare), Cody Koehn (Michele) and Nick Koehn (Alicia). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
