Brent Matthews Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brent Matthews in McPherson, Kansas, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd D. Matthews and Sherry A. Matthews (Schlehuber); his sister Brenda Decker; his son Michael S. Matthews; his stepson Arthur A. Matthews; and his grandparents, Jake and Pearl Schlehuber.
He is survived by: his wife Regina S. Matthews; his stepchildren, Shawn Russell of Waterford, NY and Gina Russell of Florida; his siblings, Doug Matthews, Vicki Eustice (Mike), Pam Goering (Greg) and Diane Winter (Troy); his aunt Norma; and his uncle Sheldon Snell. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials go to Angel Arms Home Care of McPherson in honor of Brent, and left in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501.
