She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Ione Briix-Jilka (Zirkle) and Robert "Bob" Clyde Briix; and her sisters, Carolyn Lee and Virgina Lowther. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Lavonne "Tommie" Thompson; her children, Christine Maxey of Madison, Roxanne Schmidt (Tim) of McPherson, Toni Ortiz (Ron) of Parkville and Mike Thompson (Kim) of McPherson; her brother-in-law James Lowther of Emporia, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Paxton Mogenson (Jennifer), Shawn Mogenson, Jeremy Littrell (Jenny), Jarod Littrell (Tracy), Jordan Ortiz, Austen Ortiz, Olivia Knapp (Rob), Mallory Roberts (Aaron), Shea Thompson (Jordan), Alex, Grayden, Kaden, Kaylee, Keaton, Weston, Wyatt, Brody, Ava and Lucas. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
