Betty Jane Barchesky Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2023, at the age of 98, Betty Jane Barchesky of McPherson, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Werner and Josephine Marie Nordstrom (Peterson); her husband Walter Barchesky; her daughter Marcia Ann Barchesky; and her siblings, Helen Young, Evelyn Hooper, Edna Dillon, Virginia Seckman, Roger, Marlin and Frank Nordstrom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Barchesky of McPherson and Barbara Hyman (Sam) of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Leah J. Fowler, Timothy J. McDonald and Tiffany M. Dziurawiec (Gregory); her stepgrandchildren, Tim Hyman (Janelle) and Sonja Gudgel (Mark); her great grandchildren, Emily, Caleb, Brianna, Kylie, Makenna, Brooke, Owen, Joseph and Chloe; her stepgreat-granddaughter Ashley; her nieces and nephews, Sherri Clark, Barbara Hooper, Kay Zook, Annette Lewis, Donna Johnson, Jan Gerber, Jeanette Smith, Dana Nordstrom, Deana Rubel, Dawn Biscaro and Steve Nordstrom; her close friend Julie Roberts; and her family, Maridan, Larry Christensen and Lan Nelson.
