It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin L. Havens of McPherson, Kansas, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles; his sisters, Edna Hiebert and Evelyn McDonald; and his stepdaughter Charla Voth. He is survived by: his wife Lavina Ruth Goering (Penner); his children, Charlie Havens (Barbara) of Chicago, IL, Phil Havens (Lori) of McPherson, KS, Hal Havens (Kelly) of Lenexa, KS and Rebecca Provinse of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Jessica Havens, Allison Havens (Omar), Joshua Havens (Christy), Derek Havens (Courtney), Audrey Benham (Matthew), Kasey Wiglesworth (Curtis), Brian Havens (Kay) and Alexander Provinse; his brother John Havens of Newton, KS; and his stepchildren, Lynnae Applequist (Lee) of McPherson, KS, Darin Goering (Teresa) of Salina, KS and Lisa Bouray (Kirk) of McPherson, KS. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; and many extended family & friends.
