She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Merle and Ethel Mae Cropper Combs; her husband Frank Melvin Newman; her sons, James Melvin Newman, Michael Wayne Newman and Roger E. Newman; and her siblings, Earl Combs, Grace Thompson, Anna Lee Gragg and Velma Shaffer.
She is survived by: her children, Garry Newman (Jan) of Colbert, WA, Bill Newman (Sharon) of Altus, OK, Dennis Newman (Jeanne) of Ozawkie, KS, Vivian Magill (Steve) of Casa Grande, AZ, Carol Sue Oglesby (Daryl) of Gardner, KS and Jeanette. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
