It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Trula D Smith of McLouth, Kansas, born in DeSoto, Kansas, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Longacre and Olive Longacre (Reynolds); and her son Clifford Smith. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Virginia Smith (Clifford) of Lawrence, KS; and her children, Lane Smith of Tonganoxie, KS and Dyla Lawrence (Kevin) of McLouth, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Appl Orchard Hospice, Life 85.5, Shelter KC, Volunteer Firefighter Alliance, Our Daily Bread Ministries or the Springdale Friends Church.
