He was predeceased by: his sisters, Janet Ann Carey and Mary Louise Carey. He is survived by: his wife Beth Carey (Colbert); his parents, Robert Carey and Linda Carey; his children, Myles Pemberton (Sue), Phillip Pemberton of Leavenworth, KS, Cole Carey of McLouth, KS and Jessica Pemberton (Tanner Weatherwax); his grandchildren, Bella Pemberton, Jackson Williams, Adelynn Weatherwax, Christian Pemberton, Kayleigh Pemberton and Kayden Pemberton; and his siblings, Mike (Yvonne), John (Shelbie), Paul, Joe (Becky), Bill Carey (Kathy), Susan Jacobs, Teresa Boutte (Chris) and Laura Carey.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Tonganoxie.
