Esther Sparks Obituary
In loving memory of Esther Sparks of McLouth, Kansas, who departed this world on December 9, 2024 at the age of 95. Esther leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dyke and Lida Van Dyke; her husband William "Bill" Steven Sparks Sr.; her brothers, John Jr. and Doyle Van Dyke; her son-in-law Richard L. Karmann, Jr.; and her great grandchild Travis Burns.
She is survived by: her sister Faye Young; and her children, Sue Karmann of McLouth, Steve Sparks of McLouth, John Sparks (Shirley) of McLouth and Bob Sparks (Lynn) of Oskaloosa, KS. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchildren as well as a large extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barnett Family Funeral Home (1220 Walnut St, Oskaloosa, KS 66066). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
