It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Joseph Ponte of McFarland, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Burch McKinley and Ralph McKinley; and his siblings, Thomas Ponte, Edie Adams and Georgia Bonneson.
He is survived by: his former wives, Sandra Barngrover and Bernita Mongold Tryon; his wife Marilyn Meseke Gasperich; his daughters, Teresa Ponte (Al) and Amy Ponte; his brother Nick Nicolay (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ellen Doty, Devin Ponte, Brandon Gasperich (Marisa), Mackenzie Johanek (Tucker), Jordyn, Jayde Berroth, Easton Sisson, Peyton, Katelyn, Brady, Cole Hurla, Haidyn and Mason Falk; and his great grandchildren, Oaklee and Bodhi Gasperich.
