It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mervin L. McElwain of McCune, Kansas, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McElwain and Cleo McElwain (Neal); and his siblings, Billy McElwain, Marion Whirley and Anna Mae Slapar.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Neil of Pittsburg; his children, Jeff McElwain of Gilbert, Jan McElwain of Girard, Lisa Kress of McCune and Lori Schuler (Don) of Rogers, Arkansas; and his sister Carol Best (Terry) of McCune. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
